Questions about the hotel

What are the standard check-in and check-out times?

Check-in time: 3pm
Check-out time: 11am

Is it possible to check out outside of these times?

Yes. In any case, if you circumstances require special arrangements to be made, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist you.

What is the Venice Access Fee?

Starting from 2024, the Venice Access Fee is in force. As an overnight stay in a Municipality accommodation facility, you are exempt from paying the Access Fee but you will need to have a QR-code proving your stay at this facility if you visit Venice on these days:

APRIL 2026: 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30;
MAY 2026: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31;
JUNE 2026: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28;
JULY 2026: 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26.

To obtain the QR code, follow these steps:

Go to CDA Comune Venice
Select “I am a guest in an accommodation facility located in the Municipality of Venice.”
Click on “Request Exemption.”
In the “Start Date” field, enter the arrival day, and in the “End Date” field, enter the departure day.

In the screen related to the data to be entered:

Fill in all fields: name, surname, date of birth, place of birth, personal email, residence;
In the “Accommodation and address name” field, enter the number 7468;
Choose the option “Best Western Hotel Tritone” as a guest of this property;
In the “add holder” field, the other guests staying besides the main holder must be inserted.

Once the procedure is completed, you will receive a digital voucher containing a QR code. You must always carry it with you and present it if requested by authorized personnel.

Is it possible to request a crib/cot in the room?

Yes. Children up to 3 years old stay for free when using an available crib/ cot.

Do you have non smoking rooms?

All rooms are non-smoking. The entire hotel is 100% smoke-free.

Do you have a pet policy?

Yes, small pets are allowed upon request (max 10kg). There is a € 15 fee for final cleaning at the end of the stay. Please let us know in advance if you are accompanied by your dog.

What are the general terms for canceling a reservation?

All bookings made directly through the hotel’s website can be canceled without penalty if guests give notice of cancellation by 4pm on the day before arrival. Thereafter, the Hotel charges a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s stay. These conditions do not apply to special offers and to any reservation made through third parties (agency, tour operator and others); please refer to the terms laid out in the contract.

Do special offers have a different cancellation policy?

Yes, reservations made using our special offer Early Booking cannot be changed or canceled. Once the reservation is made, the total amount will be charged directly to the credit card used for online booking. For any other type of reservation of special offers, please refer to the general terms of cancellation of a reservation.

How much is the Tourist Tax?

The Municipality of Venice introduced the Tourist tax on August 24th, 2011. The applicable tax in 4 star hotels in the historic center of Venice is € 3.10 per person/ night and it is only imposed up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights. The fee is to be paid directly at the Hotel Reception, and the payment will be fully transferred to the City Authorities and does not in any way pertain to the payment of Hotel services.

The tax does not apply to children under 10 years. Children between the age of 10 and 15 are entitled to a 50% reduction.

How does breakfast work?

Breakfast is served every day from 06.00 to 10.00 in the breakfast room on the ground floor.

For room service, dial number 9 (€5 supplement). Price of breakfast purchased online: €8 per person per day. Price of breakfast at the hotel: €12 per person per day.
An early breakfast service is available on request from 05.00 every day in the hall. Takeaway service is also available. To request it, contact reception by dialling 9.

Is there a car park next to the hotel? How much does it cost?

Right next to our hotel you can use the Saba guarded private car park, at the special rate of €14 for 24 hours (consecutive and calculated at the time of entry).

Let us know upon your arrival if you are travelling with the Telepass and our staff will show you the spaces reserved for hotel guests and the exclusive access to directly reach our entrance.

How do I get to Treviso and Venice Airport?

Connections to Venice Marco Polo Airport:

BY BUS: ATVO Line 35B buses run to Marco Polo Airport from Mestre train station. The journey takes about 20 minutes, the stop is located a few steps from the Venezia-Mestre railway station and from the hotel. Alternatively, ACTV bus 15 is connected to Venice Airport (about 25 minutes).
BY TAXI: The price of the journey varies (between 35 and 45 euros) depending on the time of day and the number of suitcases and takes about 15 minutes.

Connections to Treviso Canova Airport:

BY BUS: ATVO TREVISO AIRPORT EXPRESS buses run to Treviso Canova Airport from Mestre railway station. The journey takes about 55 minutes, the stop is located a few steps from the Venezia-Mestre railway station and from the hotel.
BY TAXI: Treviso airport is 30 km from the Venezia Mestre railway station and the hotel. The journey takes about 30/40 minutes and the cost varies between 50/80 euros depending on the time of day and luggage.

How do I get to Treviso?

The best and most convenient way to reach Padua is by train (15-minute journey), from the Venezia Mestre station, right in front of the Hotel. Visit Trenitalia website to find out the timetables. Alternatively, you can easily reach the centre of Padua in about 60 minutes by bus (line 53E). For bus timetables click here.

How do I get to Padua?

The best and most convenient way to reach Padua is by train (15-minute journey), from the Venezia Mestre station, right in front of the Hotel. Visit Trenitalia website for the timetables. How do I get to Verona?

The best and most convenient way to reach Verona is by train (1 hour journey), from the Venezia Mestre station, right in front of the Hotel. Visit Trenitalia website to find out the timetables.

Alternatively, you can easily reach the centre of Verona in about 1 hour 25 minutes by bus (Flixbus). For bus timetables click here.

Is there and ATM near the hotel? Can I exchange currency?

An Intesa Sanpaolo Spa ATM is available for withdrawals and deposits, 800 metres from the Hotel on Corso del Popolo, 223. To exchange currency, simply go to the station, right in front of the hotel (Forexchange counter).

Is there a tobacconist near the hotel?

A tobacconist is available on Via Piave, 196 (Tabaccheria Cecotti Cinzia, 200m from the Hotel).
Once you leave the hotel, turn right and go straight on to via Piave. Turn right onto via Piave and the tobacconist is just ahead on the left.

Is there a launderette near the hotel?

Located 900 metres from the Hotel is a self-service launderette called LAVAGETTONE Lavanderia Laundry Self-Service Venezia-Mestre.

Is there a pharmacy near the hotel?

Once you leave the hotel, turn left and continue straight up to via Cappuccina. Turn left onto via Cappuccina and go straight on for another 700 m as far as the Farmacia Menis and you will find it on the right.

Is there a supermarket near the hotel?

Alì supermercati – Via Piave, Via Piave, 172, 30171 Venezia VE (300 metres, 4 minutes walking)

Are there restaurants nearby? How to get there?

Hotel Tritone provides dinner service, and we recommend the following restaurants in the area:
